Today, the Almaty City State Archives is hosting a joint thematic historical and documentary exhibition entitled “My Country, with Its Glorious History”, featuring significant milestones in the formation and development of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition has been jointly organized by the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Almaty City State Archives. The exposition showcases unique documents, historical photographs and original archival materials from the collections of both archives, reflecting the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage, its path towards state independence, and the continuity of national history.

The event is attended by Saule Mushkenova, Deputy Director of the National Archives, and Sandugash Sapasheva, an archive staff member.

By bringing the nation’s historical memory to life through archival documents, the exhibition aims to promote Kazakhstan’s national heritage and strengthen historical awareness.
