Cooperation

One of the key areas of activity of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan Republican State Institution is the development of cooperation with archival institutions, government agencies, research organizations, higher education institutions, cultural organizations, as well as legal entities and individuals of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, and the promotion of international cooperation.

The primary objective of this cooperation is to study and exchange best practices in the acquisition, preservation, state registration, scientific research, and use of the documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other archival records, to implement joint research projects, and to strengthen cooperation in preserving and promoting the nation’s documentary heritage.

Within this framework, the National Archives has concluded cooperation agreements with a number of government agencies, research institutions, and organizations, including:

  • the Institute of State History of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Astanagorarkhitektura LLP;
  • the R.B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies** of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

These agreements are aimed at advancing scholarly research, introducing archival documents into academic circulation, preserving and promoting documentary heritage, as well as strengthening professional cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the field of archival science.
