The Department of Archival Technologies and Digitalization is responsible for converting the inventories and records of the National Archive into digital format.
Digitization will provide users with fast and convenient access to archival documents in accordance with the modern standards of the information society. It will also facilitate the creation of a preservation copy collection designed to ensure the long-term preservation of the rich heritage of the National Archival Fond of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main type of work carried out by the Department’s specialists is the scanning of archival documents.
