

Awareness Session Held on Corruption Prevention at the National Archives
The National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an awareness session aimed at enhancing employees’ legal awareness, promoting compliance with professional ethics, and preventing corruption risks.
During the session, Compliance Officer of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Satybaldinov familiarized employees with the key provisions of the Policy on the Identification and Resolution of Conflicts of Interest and the Anti-Corruption Standard in force at the institution.
The session provided a detailed overview of the key concepts related to conflicts of interest, the causes and circumstances of their occurrence, as well as the procedures for preventing and resolving such situations. Employees were provided with information on the requirements to be observed and the measures to be taken in the event of a conflict of interest.
Particular attention was also paid to the key requirements of the Anti-Corruption Standard, professional ethics rules, and the principles of legality in the performance of official duties. The employees were informed about measures to prevent corruption, the prohibition on accepting gifts and other forms of remuneration, the inadmissibility of using one’s official position for personal purposes, as well as the procedure for reporting corruption-related incidents.
The meeting emphasized the importance of employees carrying out their official duties conscientiously and responsibly, preventing conflicts of interest, and strictly complying with established requirements.
The main purpose of the awareness session was to foster an anti-corruption culture among employees, strengthen compliance with legal requirements, and reinforce the principles of transparency and responsibility in the workplace.
